The news and articles on science and scientific research
ACS Medicinal Chemistry Letters presents in 2015 January a special issue about kinases as biological targets, inhibitors, and the new potential therapeutically applications of protein kinase blocker class of bioactive compounds.
The issue “New Frontiers in Kinases: Second Generation Inhibitors−Going beyond Cancer” paper presents several research studies with kinases involved in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, gastrointestinal disorders, inflammation, diabetes, glaucoma, viral infections, and the design and development of their potential inhibitors. These representative studies provide a flavor of the diverse and exciting science in areas as Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cancer, etc.
