Five scholarship positions are open for international students to pursue a master’s degree in the PPGEE program at the Federal University of Pampa, Alegrete Campus, starting in the 2026/I semester via CAPES NOTICE No. 12/2025 – PEC-PG.

Scholarship amount: R$2,100.00 per month for 24 months and
Health insurance: R$400 per month for 24 months

What you need to apply: Candidates must be registered on the ORCID platform and have a resume registered on the Lattes platform.
When registering, the following documents and information must be submitted:
I – Official photo ID of the candidate;
II – Proof of residence abroad, such as water and electricity bills, among other documents that verify the candidate’s place of residence;
III – Valid ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) identifier at the time of registration, to be entered directly on the registration form;
IV – Research project in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, including the following items:
Introduction;
General and specific objectives;
Justification for conducting the training in Brazil, given the installed capacity in the country of origin or residence, clarifying the reasons for choosing the Brazilian Graduate Program as the destination;
Results to be achieved and potential for expansion;
Projected academic and scientific production goals;
Description of how the knowledge acquired in Brazil will be disseminated in the country of origin or residence.
Description of the importance of the research for the development of the specific field in the country of origin or residence;
Work schedule, describing the activities that will be carried out during the study period, including field research, when applicable, indicating the location and expected period for carrying out the activities;
Bibliographical references.
V – Declaration of employment, when applicable, issued by the agency or institution where the candidate works, dated after the publication of the Notice in the Official Gazette of the Union.
VI – Complete, updated Lattes CV in Portuguese containing the following information (https://www.gov.br/pt-br/servicos/cadastrar-seno-curriculo-lattes):
Personal data;
Professional experience, including current employment in the country of origin or residence, if applicable; and
Academic production.
VII – Memorial (Annex III) produced by the candidate (in Portuguese, Spanish, or English), written succinctly in up to 600 (six hundred) words, presenting:
The candidate’s skills and motivations for pursuing the Master’s Degree in Brazil; the candidate’s professional development process, describing experiences in teaching, research, and outreach activities, including during their undergraduate and master’s programs, when applicable;
Academic and professional experience in the field of interest; and
Any special circumstances applicable to the candidate’s background.
